I had a good part of my career marked by constant injuries and 2 surgeries, which made me study the body of a volleyball athlete and his needs on the court. Furthermore, I went from a broken player to the most prepared player.
After playing for more than 6 years in a row without pain, I realized that my purpose in volleyball was much greater than just playing. I created the Armored Player Project and started training athletes all over the world, and today we are in over 30 countries guiding players to achieve their best version ever.
My current goal is to change the Volleyball Culture by showing that volleyball is much more than just a ball and a net.
With over 21 years of professional experience playing volleyball in 20 countries, I’ve not only honed my skills on the court but also gained unique insights into the physical demands of the sport. Despite facing multiple injuries and surgeries, I was able to transform myself from a broken player to a top-performing athlete through my extensive study of the volleyball athlete’s body and needs.
Through my journey, I discovered my true purpose in volleyball: to empower and inspire others to reach their full potential. That’s why I founded The Armored Player, where we provide customized training and guidance to volleyball players all over the world, now in 36 countries.
